Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?

I had personal goals and team goals. In my final collegiate season I set the goals of becoming a first team all-conference running back for the second year in a row and I did that. I wanted to rush for double the yards I did the previous year and score double the touchdowns that I had last year which I did. And I also wanted to help take my team on a playoff run to the national championship which we will begin in the spring time.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m different, I’m not the biggest back, but I play like I am. I am one of the most trustworthy players on the team and will give it my all whenever needed to. I can step up in big situations and handle them well also. My teammates support me 100 percent. They would say that I’m like that. I’m a great running back and that I surprise them all the time. There’s never a doubt in their minds that I won’t succeed on the field. I’m a key player to the team and they know that I won’t fail them. Now the respect for me is there from them when I’m on the field because I’ve made myself a known presence.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m watching film, I usually watch the whole play from both angles to see it from two different perspectives. I then look for what I can improve on first and then what I could have done better. After that I look for my teammates who were responsible for making the play happen and assess the play as a whole.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The type of heart that I play with. I’ve been doubted and over looked my whole life so every time I step on the field I play like it’s my last no matter who’s in front of me. I don’t care what type of hype is built around other players name or anything, if they are put in front of me I’ll show them that I’m different.

Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?

have a few pro trainers in Michigan and Atlanta that I have a good relationship with that I will be working with in the off-season to keep me in shape and get my body right for the next level. I want to show my strengths and talents are one of a kind. You’ll see things out of me that you wouldn’t expect.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I want to show that I can take initiative in important situations and show that I can be the guy they can trust when they need it. I also talk to my teammates throughout the game to make sure we’re all on the same page and focused on the bigger picture.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?

The Lord put me here for a reason, I feel that I have the heart and talent to perform on any level. Actions speak louder than words and I’m the perfect example of that. If you want a back that can do whatever you need them to, then I’m your guy. There’s no challenge too big for me, My vision in the backfield and my toughness will stand out like no other meaning you’ll have no regret picking me up.
