Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set a lot of goals for myself, and as a team. Personally I wanted to just have a large impact on our defense. But as a team, the whole goal was to win it all. We finished 14-1 but came up a little short unfortunately in the national championship game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am very resilient, hard working, and a leader by example. I’m not always the most talkative leader but I will say something when it is time to be said. They will say that I play with that dog mentality, and have a high motor. They will also say that I’m a great teammate and will do anything to help my team succeed!

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying my opponent, I focus on the little things like, what tendencies or body language does he show that I can use to my advantage in game, what are his favorite open field moves, what are there go to plays and formations in certain situations, etc. But when I’m studying film on myself, I look at my strengths and weaknesses and critique everything down to my stance and first step so I can keep progressing my game and stay consistent.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The fact that I have good feet and hips is a big thing that is beneficial for me. I say that my mentality is something else that separates me. Me going through the process that I went through to get to Minnesota State, allowed for me to truly build a strong mental. Also, my ball awareness, I always am around the ball. I am good at understanding down and distance and what you would get from your opponent in certain situations.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am training at my schools facility for now, with a workout from both my strength and conditioning coach at Minnesota State and Made Strength in New Jersey. I am focused on putting on weight, while bettering my speed and strength.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a very genuine person and Also, i am willing to do anything for my teams success, even if that is special teams. I have the ability to play both inside and outside backer. I work hard, and being that I took the junior college route, adversity is something that I handle very well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Any team that decides to give me a chance, will get someone that is 110% dedicated to that team and getting better as an individual and a team. Every coach along my way that has decided to give me a chance has never regretted it and your program will not either!
