Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set was to win a conference championship and become one of the best receivers in NWU history, and also receive all conference honors. I accomplished becoming one of the best receivers as I finished my career in the top 5 in receptions, yards and TDS. And I was able to receive the all conference honor in my final season.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am a very hard working dedicated teammate. I also express my leadership through my play, and I’m not very vocal, but will work hard on and off the field and give my all when I put on the uniform!
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on what DB will be covering me and how they give away what coverage they’re in and how I can beat that coverage. I also focus on his man technique to see where his weakness is and how I can exploit it. I also look at their press technique to see what releases I can use and get away with.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Although I may not be the fastest guy, I am very fundamentally sound and run good crisp routes. With my basketball background I am very good at being able to use my big body to box out the defenders and I have good strong hands.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am working with my strength and conditioning coach to get stronger and faster so if the opportunity comes I am able to compete with the best in the business.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Like I stated earlier, my leadership through example. I will always do the right things off the field, and on. I will always put my guys first and make sure they are doing the right things to help the team! I will also compete in everything I do and every opportunity that comes my way.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Give me one chance to show you that just because I’m from a small D3 school that I can compete with anyone at any level, and I will give my all no matter what the circumstance.
