Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Set some high goals for myself going into my final year and I ended up reaching most of them, not all. My most important one being winning a SWAC championship with my teammates, but as far as my individual goals, I met them, my favorite being in the top 3 in the SWAC in interceptions on the year.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

Determined. Dennis will never quit on preparation or a play. He gives 100 with all he does. A Player that Loves to Play the game and that Brings Energy to Practice Everyday. Loyal and Unselfish player.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I like to watch film on plays I made mistakes on so I can improve on them and not create bad habits out of them. Film is really important to me especially preparing for a game helps me play with more instinct instead of me being on the field playing slow and thinking.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me from everyone else is I’m a versatile, Long arm, and Physical defensive back that has a great understanding of the game and what it takes to play this game at a high level. I’m also a Dog on that field and always finding a way to make a play for my team.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I’m taking things day by day making sure I squeeze the most out of each day and maximize my chances of making a NFL roster because that is my goal to take someone’s job.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m an overall hard worker and a student of the game. I’m going to be the first person in the building and the last one to leave because I take my craft serious. On the field I can make plays anywhere on the ball and willing to take risk and make plays for my team.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I would tell them I’m a diamond in the rough don’t matter where they take me at they are going to get a guy that competes at a high level day in and day out. I’m going to work hard to take somebody’s job.
