Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

The main goal was to come out healthy without any major injuries. I wanted to break some schools records. I also just wanted to help my team any way possible. I wanted to win the National Championship, but everything happens for a reason.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Aggressive, smart, and fast.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Right now, I’m Training in Gwinnett County, GA at U48fitness with Manny Rodriquez, Monday through Friday. I’m just taking it day by day, just perfecting my craft and techniques. I will be prepared when the day arrives.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

A lot of different things. Some DBs are more physical than others and some may be faster than others. Whatever I can use to my advantage, I’ll use it. When I study film, I look at a lot of different things, I’m not just studying the DBs, I study the whole defense.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My size, speed, your studying of your opponents and film review. Finally, heart and determination to win every matchup against defenders. Also, my agility at 6”4. Not many players my size have also played Kick Return.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, my determination to get better and be great. Paying attention to details, making sure the little things are correct. Being 6’4 with the speed and agility to move, I think if I’m in the right hands with the right team, I can be a major threat.
Off the field, I love to help people. I’ve always helped homeless people whenever I can. I love kids, I love to make a positive impact on their life. Kids look up to me, so everything I do has to be done the right way. I’m a team player, I’m always encouraging. I also play with a lot of passion. I will be a great help to an offense.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

At this point, actions speaks louder than words. I can show them better than I can tell them. I played in the National and Tropical Bowl, where I dominated. I promise whatever team picks me up, I will be a great asset to their offense or wherever they need me. I promise I won’t be a disappointment. Whoever picks me up has a diamond in the rough.
