Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals heading into my final season were to become a complete DB playing any position in the defensive backfield. In addition to that was to lead the conference in PBU’s and INTs.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
My style of play could be described aggressive, technical, intelligent.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
To prepare this offseason for professional opportunities by focusing on fundamental footwork and technique to perform at the highest level. In addition to film study of other top players at my position.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When studying film, I focus on several things when preparing for an opponent. Formation tendencies, splits by receivers, in addition to my opponent play habits such as releases. All of these things to have an understanding what the offense of trying to accomplish and how each player fits into what is trying to be accomplished.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from other players is that I am extremely versatile to play any position from corner, to nickel, in the slot, to safety. I have a tremendous understanding of my role in defenses while understanding others roles in conjunction to my own to play fast.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths I feel that I can provide for an organization on the field will be my leadership and enthusiasm because of my genuine love of the game. I will only uplift those around me. Off the field, you can expect a workhorse who will be first in last out mentality. I can be a guy other guys enjoy playing with and being with in the locker room.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch to teams is that given an opportunity, I can provide an unique attribute to a locker room that you will want to keep around because I have hunger to become a better player and individual. The best has yet to come for my career.
