Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Goals I had heading into my final college season was to win another Swac championship which we did, win another national championship which we came up short. Lead the Swac in interceptions, which I did and become a first All-Swac and first team All-American, which I did both as well.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

3 words I would describe my style of play would be; Relentless, BallHawk, and Smart.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

This off-season I will be training for speed, strength, and mental toughness at Desire Speed and Strength with Robert Butler.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I’m studying film, I’m focusing on not only the Wideout, but the Quarterback as well to see if he’s going to stare down his target before and during the play. I’m also looking at how lazy the wideout is, the body language will tell you a lot. Also, I’m paying attention to splits on the field and what part of the field they are in to see what that player’s favorite routes to run from that area. While studying film, I also pay attention to personnel groups and formations.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me from other players at my position is THE WILL to keep going when things get tough and being a student of the game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Strengths and abilities I will bring to a team on and off the field is the ability to be a great help not only at my position, but in the special team phase as well and being a great positive energy on the field the whole game. Abilities that I bring off the field is being a great leader for others in the community. I have won awards for being a great leader in the community, so I love helping people and using the gift I was blessed with to give back to others.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to NFL or other Pro league scouts is I’m a former walk on that only played 3 years of college football and became a first team All-American. I’m hungry for greatness and will not accept anything less than that.
