Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Win another RMAC conference championship and lead my team to a D2 National Championship.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Aggressive, Intelligent, Explosive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am training at Landow Performance in Centennial, Colorado.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When watching film, I closely pay attention to defensive formations. Identifying defensive tendencies allows me to distinguish blitz schemes before the snap. I pay strict attention to defensive line alignments, so I can predict where holes in the run game will open up. Also, studying individual player tendencies to know how to exploit them in one on one situations.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I played defense my first 3 seasons at the D1-D2 collegiate level. I know defensive schemes which helps me understand what type of defense the opposing team is running and can quickly identify them in my pre-snap reads. As well as the ability to fly around on special teams and make big plays and tackles. I can also long snap.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am truly a student of the game and will know the playbook inside and out, which eliminates mental mistakes and allows me to play fast and instinctive. I also enjoy doing activities for the community and giving back to the under privileged and youth.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I have faced adversity and hardships since a very young age. I have stayed focused and continue to overcome every obstacle in my way. I bring the same mindset to the game of football as I do in life and will put it all on the line day after day. I am a big play guy, but I also love doing the dirty work it takes to be successful.
