Earning an honorable mention for all-SWAC and earning the nickname “FCS Honey Badger”.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I feel I took advantage of my extra year by growing not only physically but more mentally. I feel as if I had the physical aspect of the game down but being able to defeat an opponent mentally is different so I took advantage of this extra year to boost my stock and put the mental aspect of the game in my bag.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would consider me a passionate player who gives his all every game and practice. They also would consider me a leader who motivates and inspires no matter the situation.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I always study the tendencies of the QB first. Then I study what are there favorite pass/run concepts, what downs do they like to run certain plays, when do they want to take a shot in the end zone. Then i study the Individual players, who is there best receiver, how does he get open, what attribute does he use best.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates me from other players is my versatility. You can move me to Safety, Corner, or nickel and whatever you expect me to do the job will get done. I also bring a different type of play with my quick twitch, evading blocks, quick reaction and ability to become WR while ball is in the air.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is too lock in with my DB trainer to continue perfecting my craft and also get with speed, power, agility trainer to help me overachieve my Pro Day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My versatility brings allot to the table being able to play each position as a DB adds depth. My ability to make plays in the backfield. My leadership and ability to inspire and motivate can help either teammates or people all over to just don’t never settle.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Promise you won’t regret taking a chance. What you seen on film is consistent and will continue to get better.
