Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Going into my final collegiate season, I was more focused on being consistent. I wanted to make the All-American First Team. That was my goal. I wanted to leave a mark in every game. I wanted every team we played to know that when they were coming to play, that they would have to come prepared for me whether it’d be on Special teams or at WR.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Violent, physical, and elusive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Right now, I train at ETHIC TRAINING with Darnell Dinkins.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I like to look for players tendencies when I’m studying film. As I grew in college, I started to focus more on the little things like recognizing coverages or knowing if someone is blitzing. The rotation of safeties and cornerback alignment is a big thing I like to look at too.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Football is 90 percent mental and 10 percent physical. A lot of people are gifted with the physical talent to play, but my ability to understand the game separates me from a lot of people. Don’t get me wrong though, that physical aspect matters. I work hard consistently. Once I learned how to work without any distractions, that’s when I started to bloom.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a leader on and off the field. I am willing to learn from just about anyone. I will sit down and study for as long as it takes me to understand what I should be doing. I am a people’s person, so I love to do things like community service. I bring a face to an organization that people will love.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

You’re not only getting a player who can play at the next level, but a player who continues to work to get better no matter where I am in my career. You’re getting a competitor, a dog, and a finesser. Someone that is willing to make sacrifices.
