Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?
My season was canceled due to COVID-19.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a team player, very competitive, and a hard worker on and off the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I study film, I look at the offense as a whole, then break it down from positions such as WRs. WR’s alignment on the field usually helps on what route is coming. As well as body language by a receiver on whether he is getting the ball or not. I study QB tendencies, signals he gives, motions. 3rd down tendencies that my opponent likes to run.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My IQ for the game, I’m a great special teams guy, I’m always around the ball. I’m very versatile, I able to play in the safety position, cover outside WRs and with my size, I’m able to move and cover guys in the slot.
Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?
To keep training, working on my mechanics. Due to COVID, I am training back at home with one of my trainers.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strength is that I can adapt to any situation and I am always willing to listen and learn. Off the field, I am trustworthy, I like bonding with teammates because building those relationships will last longer off the field. I’m always ready to buy in.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?
I will make a great fit for any team, I’m always a hard worker, I am trustworthy on and off the field. I will never be a selfish player in any aspect, I am willing to do anything to put my team and organization in the best situation as possible to be successful.
