Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?
I worked through a lot this season with Covid coming hard, it was kinda tough, but I still managed to increase my bench an my 40 time.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a hard worker, I’m a very selfless player, wherever the Coach needs me on the O-line I’ll go. And I’m super, super humble.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m studying film, I look for the small details, hand placement from the D-Linemen. I look at hips at how wide they are and I always look for their dominant hand.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Well first, I’m coachable, I listen and watch everybody even when it looks like I’m not paying attention. I’m always listening. Secondly, I come to work everyday, there’s no time off with me. Every time we’re on the Football field, there’s another rep we could be working on.
Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?
My plan is to prepare and train with my trainers, making sure I can properly preform when the NFL draft comes around, but also doing it safely.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Keeping my teammates in check because at the end of the day, it’s bigger than both of us. I feel I bring a different type of flame to the game breaking down plays mid play so I can figure out what I need to do on the next play.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?
I fell like I would be the perfect player for your organization because I’m a happy person. I come fired up every day and I’m like a cold, I’m contagious when it comes to being a fun person to be around.
