Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal for the season was to get my name into the record books, whether it had been catches, yards, or touchdowns. I wanted to be first team All-SWAC, and I wanted to cap it off by winning the Celebration Bowl.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I am willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. My teammates would say that they respect me because they know I wouldn’t want to let them down. They would also say I’m what a great teammate because I pour myself into each and everyone of them.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I make it my job to know every weakness of the guy who lines up in front of me. I try my hardest to critique everything I do whether it be good or bad, but I also look at the opportunities I would have making plays after the catch.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m never satisfied with how good my performance is. Whatever a coach tells me to do, it will translate on film.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I recently was able to find a facility to workout at in preparation for my proday. I also had someone draw up a meal plan for me as well to maximize my training experience.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths on the field would be me continuing to work even when everyone counts me out. Off the field, I’m not really a sociable person but in my opinion I feel like I am guy anyone can be around.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
The person you get when you pick me up will be the same person everyday. A person who’s willing to do whatever it takes to be on the field and bring success to your team.
