Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal going into my final collegiate season was to become a better leader and leave the underclassmen in a better place than I was in at the end of my freshman year. Coming into college I did not have any upperclassmen to look up to, so I felt that it was important to give the younger guys some guidance in order to prepare them for the years to come.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a hard worker who is willing to do whatever it takes to put my team in the best position to succeed, whether that comes with my own individual success or not.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Some things I look for when watching and analyzing game film is tendencies. I will study defensive backs and their alignments, steps, and drops depending on coverage in order for me to understand where they are going to be and what I need to do within my route to either open myself up or one of my teammates. This allows me to best prepare to succeed week to week.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Something that sets me apart from others at my position is my knowledge and versatility. I have always been exceptional at getting my playbooks down and knowing every position on the field. While I am not the tallest, I have played out wide, but with my stature and agility I am very dominant in the slot and can even see myself getting some work in the backfield if need be.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan consists of staying active in the weight room to maintain my strength and explosiveness, as well as perfecting my craft on the field. Instead of doing something over and over to get it right, I work to do things over until I cannot get them wrong.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My work ethic is something that has always stood out in every aspect of my life. Academics has always been the most important to me and I was able to get my Bachelor of Science with over a 3.0 GPA while being an athlete all-throughout college. On the field I carry the same approach. My college coach always preached ‘the football God’s reward hustle,’ and that always stuck with me. I know there is always someone out there working to take my spot, so I know I cannot afford to take days off, so I strive to improve myself every day.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and other pro scouts is that picking me is the right choice. Whatever the team needs I will get done efficiently. I also am not a head case to deal with, I have no history and of any troubles or disturbances.
