Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I definitely wanted to set the school record for the most receiving yards and touchdowns. I made Second Team All-Conference as a returner. I definitely felt like I did enough to get recognition as a receiver. I wanted to leave a lasting impact on the program and the university, and I felt like I accomplished that.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would flat out say I was a competitor. I love everything that comes with competing. Also, that I am a very passionate player. That I am a very coachable player and easy to work with on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film, I like to first look at myself to see what I can improve on within myself. I know that once I can perfect my skills and correct my flaws, the rest should come easy. After that, I will focus on the opposition’s tendencies and habits, to try an gain that advantage on the field. Film study or any studying is key to gaining an advantage.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from others, is my in-game awareness. I am very decisive with my movements, and my ability to change directions is phenomenal. I always told myself if I let one person tackle me, I don’t deserve to possess the football in anyway. Therefore, I pride myself on my ability to cut. Also my ability to adapt to any situation separates me from the rest.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to train on speed. Everyone needs to continuously train on their speed regardless of how fast they think they are. I have met with multiple speed/strength coaches. Knowledge is power, so I take what I learn from every experience, and apply it to myself. I am mainly focusing on training for combine/pro day specific training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring out that competitive edge in everybody. I feel like if there is little competition nobody is really learning or getting better. I definitely show a lot of leadership qualities on and off the field, so people tend to want to follow my actions. I come with a big frame and explosive speed, therefore there is no football I can’t get to- along with my great hands.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I have impacted every team I have had the opportunity of being apart of, in a very beneficial way. I have never given up on anything that was difficult, if I did I wouldn’t still be playing football. I bring toughness, im gritty, and I love a good challenge. I really love the game of football, and I cannot see myself doing anything else. I am making sure I stayed prepared for any opportunity to play pro ball.
