Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted the finished a top of the conference in receiving yards and I finished in the Top 25 of the MIAA CONFERENCE. Another goal I set for myself this season was just to stay healthy and contribute to my team win as much as possible, no matter if it was me catching the ball, blocking or playing special teams. I wanted to show versatility by me playing inside and outside and I feel like I’ve accomplished that goal.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
A leader, on and off the field, Very unselfish and a hard worker no matter what the task may be.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
While studying film I always like to pay attention to tendencies, rather it’s mine or the defender. That’ll tell you a lot about a player.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think what separates me the most is that I’m still pretty young at the game of football. A lot of guys have played for numerous years, I didn’t start playing until my freshman year of high school. My knowledge of the game, with me playing multiple different positions throughout my career I have a understanding from each aspect of the game. I played Wide Receiver my 5 years in college and played Cornerback for 1 year. Also with me playing special teams, it shows that I’m willing to do whatever to help.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I play on training in Houston, Texas with Wide Receiver specialist Delfonte Diamond on specific position training and training with Warren Randle Athletic Asylum for combine and pro day training.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Speed is a strength that I’ll bring to a team, you can never have too much speed on a team especially with how todays game is being played with big plays and a ton of down field shots. The willing to learn and be a student of the game still is another thing I know I’ll bring, I’m always willing to learn.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to any professional team out there is just, I’m the guy willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win. I’m a student of the game and I’m willing to work. Take a chance on me and you won’t regret it.
