What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal this past season is to be one of the best Defensive lineman in the MIAA which I was first team MIAA at the nose guard position. Lastly to reach All American accolades at the defensive line position.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year was really a blessing from God. It really gave me time to develop as a player and train more going into my 6th year senior season. Covid also gave me the opportunity to enter the portal after graduating from Division 1 program Morgan State University for better opportunities.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates would say I’m a hard worker. I bring energy to the team and I never stay complacent. I always find something about my style of play to get better at as a player.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on the habits of the offensive line whether it’s run or pass. I look at their stance especially if the center is blocking down and the guard is pulling during the run. On pass I look at the offensive line stance to determine if it pass and if they are high in their stance.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

One thing that stands out about me is I’m a true nose guard, but I could play the 1 shade, the zero and three technique. Lastly I run to the ball with bad intentions and I show effort as defensive lineman standing at 6’1 305 pounds.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I recently just signed with an agent. I just played in FCS bowl a couple weeks ago in Daytona Beach, Florida and I’ll be participating in the College Gridiron Showcase in Fort Worth Texas from January 8th to the12th. My agent and I are still deciding where I’m going to train at, but I’ve been making sure I’m in top physical shape.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One thing about me is that I’m stout in the run game. I feel like I’m a premier run stuffer during the run game. During the passing I’ll show effort to get to the quarterback or disrupt the passing game during the pass. Off the field I like being involved with the community and helping others in need, especially giving back younger kids that will eventually be in my shoes one day.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

There’s 32 teams in the NFL, all I need is my foot to be in the door and the rest is up to me. I feel like there’s a bunch of teams in the NFL that would love my style of play at the nose guard position because I play with a high motor and I play with great energy. I believe film don’t lie if you’re good and you have faith they will find you.
