Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set were to get a ring with my team which we did. I wanted to get at least one deep sack. Another goal I wanted was to have a way better season than I did the season before. I’ve had the best season I’ve ever had and I will continue to get better!
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I am a dawgggg!! I love the hard work that comes with this football game and I will always work hard no matter what! I am usually the hardest worker on the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I focus on the little things like steps, hand placement, how fast I get off a block, what I could do better in certain situations, and when I’m studying an opponent I look for tendencies when you can tell if it is pass or run and a lot of offensive linemen give these tendencies off.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am always willing to learn new things about the game. I’ve been playing for a long time but I do not know it all and it is never a bad thing to have too much in your bag. It makes you unpredictable.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
This offseason I have a trainer that is going to train me to help with my explosiveness and mobility so I can be quicker and faster. For the strength portion I will be following my strength and conditioning coaches plan from ECU.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am always here to motivate my teammates during good and bad times. Adversity will strike on and off the field but if we stick together we will get through it. On the field I will do everything I possibly can to help me and my brothers succeed. Off the field my teammates are still my brothers and I’m there for them always!
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I love this game of football and would love to play for the rest of my life if it is possible. You will get my all, 100% all I need is an opportunity and it will never be regretted. I want to be the best and I am going to be the best!!
