Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?
One of my goals was to win multiple championships, which we did. I had a set goal to help my team go back to back but covid took effect. My set goals were to become a national champion, an All-American, and All-Conference performer. I transferred my last season to be closer to home, but covid took that away from me.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My teammates and coaches would say that I am a hardworking dedicated and committed athlete. I do everything in my abilities to put the team first. I would play any position needed and they can always count on me to make big plays in big time situations.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I am watching film, I am focusing on my opponents tendencies and what they do in certain formations. For example, if a Guard is about to pull, is he leaning or is his foot placement off. What formations do they run certain plays in, anything that can give me a mental advantage over my opponent
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects is my strive to never give up, along with my leadership skills. I am a day one leader on and off the field, that will keep everything about the team in tact. You will always see me going 110%, if not more than that. My passion and drive for this game is through the ceiling. My play speaks for itself on film, high motor, disciplined, and a big time playmaker.
Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?
Currently I have been training 1 on 1 with a personal trainer and lifting on my own time as covid has made an impact, but has not stopped me from getting all the training I need to develop my skills for the next level. Currently training for the NATIONAL SCOUTING COMBINE THAT WILL BE HELD IN INDIANAPOLIS IN MARCH.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a very versatile athlete, can play almost any position on the field as I bring strength and speed to the table making me a dual threat at most positions and my athleticism allows me to play multiple positions.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?
If you draft me, you will gain a day one playmaker who impacts other’s playing abilities on the field. I will do whatever it takes to play where needed. Hardest worker in the weight room, well disciplined and coachable. Best player on the field whenever I step in between the white lines.
