Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to focus more on being a north and south type of runner and my speed. My film from my junior to my senior season will show the difference in my running style and speed. I also set the goal to increase my yards after contact which also was shown on paper and film. These goals led to me being awarded First Team All-Conference which had been on the goal list this season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am a team player and that I have great work ethic. I rather put the team goals before my own so that we can get a win before any of my individual goals. I feel that if you take care of the team then the individual goals will fall in place on its own.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

In the type of offense we run the defensive lineman and linebackers are key in my position. I look at alignments before snaps and gestures that will let me know what they are doing before they do it. That is what gives me the upper hand before the play, knowing what blitz is coming or which stunts are happening before the ball gets in my hand so I can find that open hole.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I would say my work ethic both during season and the off season. Football to me is a job and having that lunch pale mentality is what separates those who are great and those who are average. Secondly, the mental reps that I take on and off the field with film study increase the knowledge that I have during games so that I can play fast and free. I am extremely coachable and the relationships I build with the team helps us play like a well oiled machine.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I workout at two facilities back home that push me to the limit 6 days a week (playmakers elite and DBselect). I’ve trained with both since I was in grade school so they know how to push me and what I need to work on for the upcoming season with film evaluation. I will be working on increasing my top end speed and fixing my running style mechanics with functional pattern training so that I can have better results with my movements.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a versatile Running Back which is evolving on a professional level. Being able to run routes and catch in the route tree is a huge strength of mine. There is also the fact that I finish my runs with low pad level and down hill. The experience and knowledge that I have gained over 17 years of football is like having a coach on the field reading defenses. Lastly, I am a hard worker and expect perfection from myself and the people around me. Leading by example is big for me but also being able to take a step back and learn from others.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Take a shot on me and I will not disappoint. I love the game and put in the work on and off the field to be able to compete at a high level.
