Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My main goal heading into my final collegiate season was to win a conference championship. Unfortunately, we fell short, but we were still able to accomplish another goal of mine, which was to win a bowl game. I had lost every bowl game previous to that one, so it was a surreal feeling to end my college career as Camellia Bowl Champions.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Composed, hardworking, smooth.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

To prepare for this upcoming April, I have been working out at Six1five Sports here in Murfreesboro.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When studying film, I focus on three main things. First is my steps. I want to be sure that I am lined up correctly every single time and that I am not to narrow or wide on my side steps. Second is my approach. I want to make sure that I am approaching my target, not taking my second step outside. Third is contact/follow through. I want to make sure here that I have good plant depth, along with a smooth leg swing. I want to keep my chest up and eyes on the sweet spot while I make contact. Then as I follow through, I want to make sure that I am not falling off to the side and staying downfield.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

The main things that separates me from other people at my position is my consistency as a kicker and the love I have for my teammates. I am able to repeatedly go out and hit a good smooth ball every time, while also being a part of a brotherhood and not just a kicker.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I feel like my character is something that can help any NFL team. Off the field, I am a biochemistry major with a 3.75 GPA, a member of different clubs/honor societies, semi-finalist for the Campbell Trophy, and volunteer at numerous events. I feel like my dependability as a player and teammate will help me at the next level. My teammates are able to depend on me to get my job done on a consistent basis.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I want every professional team to know that they are getting not just a consistent kicker who gets his job done, but a great person. I will always be there for my teammates and push them to be the best they can be. Everything that I do will be for the team first. I want to make my team the best that it can be.
