Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Finishing my career was my main goal when I arrived at Stony Brook, so it was cool to see that all finally come to fruition this past year. Loyalty is important to me but finishing at SBU meant I didn’t have to transfer which was cool because who would even take a fullback transfer? I feel like if a program really needed a FB that bad they could just turn their worst linebacker into one.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

They would probably say that I’m slow and a little chubby, all stuff I’ve been working on, but that was a majority of the compliments that were sent my way.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I like to watch how how a play is supposed to look and what kind of steps you need to take and hand placement you need to use to maximize the result of your blocking assignment or route. Then I watch my own reps and how I can make mine look like that.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My ability to catch the football, which is cool because as a fullback, I kind of assume that people just think we all have awful hands. Plus I like running into people and that’s kind of the job at this position.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I train at Over The Top Athletes in North Haven.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I like football, Im a great locker room guy, and I can sleep in a bucket.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

The Gridiron Crew does some great work be sure to check out all the kids they spotlight!
