Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

One of my goals was to be a leader for our team and I did this by leading by example. Another one of my goals was to continue to get stronger in the weight room. I was able to accomplish this goal thanks to our new weight lifting program and strength coach.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Confident, athletic, and competitive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am currently training in Indiana with InFocus until my pro day in late March.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I watch film, I take a lot of notes and focus mainly on the Defensive Linemen and Linebackers. I look for if they are a step and strike team and if they are hand dominate. I also look to see their main pass rush moves. I also look at the Linebackers to see how they flow and how fast they step up to plug in the gaps.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Something that separates me from others at my position is that I have played on both sides of the Offensive Line and at both Guard and Tackle. This helps with understanding what your job is and what the guy’s job is next to you.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One strength that I will bring is being very coachable on the field and during film work. Another is a strong work ethic both on the field and in the weight room.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch is that I am a hard worker and very coachable. I can learn to play any of the five spots on the Offensive Line so that I can be used where I am most needed.
