Bryant Dotson: 2020 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Bryant Dotson
School: SAGU
Position: WR
Height:  6’3″
Weight: 195

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I had goals to be better than I was the past years. I want to get better statistically every year in order to put my team in the best position I can. Also knowing that I am a senior I wanted to lead the WR room and the team as a whole, setting a great example.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I’m a very dependable player on and off the field. I lead by example, I don’t need all the antics and attention. I do my job and do it well.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I watch any particular play usually about 10-12 times through. I look for any small detail to help me get an edge over my competition. If it’s scouting my opponent I watch for tendencies that I can exploit. If it’s game film I watch for what I did and how it can be done better. Even on positive plays there is always room for improvement.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am always looking to improve. I want to learn and I have yet to reach my peak. I have so much upside and I give my all every time I’m on that field no matter the score. I want to learn from the veterans and soak in as much information I can do I can apply it to my game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to train and work on my craft to get ready for the HBCU bowl game I will be playing in on January 17. I want to show what I can do against some strong talent. I will also be looking for pro day opportunities as another chance to get my name out.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am not someone a team would have to worry about. I handle my business. I am open and ready to learn and only want to get better. Very consistent player and give my all. All around team player!

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If you choose to have me on your team you will get a hard working individual who will give his all and do his best to make your team better in any way possible. I know there’s so much I can improve on and I have a higher level I can reach and will make a team proud that they took a chance on me one day!
