Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goal was for my team to win a championship but unfortunately we came up short. My individual goals were to be named best defensive back in the conference and to earn All conference 4x.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I am an unselfish and passionate player. I am willing to do anything for the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focused on my footwork and hand placement for when I press. I feel this is very important for the defense back position. Our defensive game plan each week was for me to cover our opponents #1 receiver. I would study film on who I would be guarding that game . Focusing on his, footwork off the line, body language, favorite routes, passes by game situation and any hints to what route he might be running. I would also look for signs between him and his quarterback.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other prospects at the defensive back position . I am very physical and not afraid to come down hill to make a tackle or big hit. I consider myself a press cornerback. I like to get physical with wide receivers and mentally and physically break them down throughout the game. My mindset is to be the best, I should guard the best receiver every game.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My plans to train for the off season is to work my program About U they helped elevate my game to the next level.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
What I would bring to the table is the passion that I have for the game . I will do whatever a coach needs or wants me to do on the field and get it done. Off the field I am looking to play for an organization that is a family / brotherhood. I would do anything for my teammates and coaches.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?
I want all organizations to know that if they take a chance on me, they will be getting a hard working player who has an extreme passion and love for the game.
