Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Goals I set for myself in my final collegiate season was to either catch more interceptions than I did last season and give up no one on one touchdowns. I fell short to getting more interceptions than I did my last season, got either one pass threw my way a game or none at all. But, I did hit my other goal with not giving up any one on one touchdowns.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and my teammates would say first off, I’m a great teammate, I treat and show everyone equal love no matter the role you have on the team. Next, they would say I’m a competitor, I love to compete, a couple other great DBs on the team we would all challenge one another to see who would have the most interceptions, tackles, and PBUs. I come ready and locked in, another switch hits me when I’m on the football field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Well since I play corner, I like to focus on all the 2 deep receivers and what are their releases in press coverage and off coverage. How do they block in the run game. I also watch their hands to let me know what they might be doing on a certain play. Fist balled they may come at me aggressively, open hands may run a route. Also focus on what personnel the offense is in while looking at the down and distances keeps me aware of when they will most likely run the ball or take a shot.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I play each play like it’s my last play on the field, you don’t know what can happen at any given moment. I play with a lot of swagger and confidence, if I was born in the 80s era, I would fit perfectly with the University of Miami team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m never satisfied with anything, there’s always something to get better at. I will continue to lift weights while also perfecting my craft and focus on the small details with staying low in my back peddling and coming out of my breaks faster and quicker with lesser steps taken.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field abilities I will bring physicality, speed, versatility. I am a physical DB with the speed to cover from side to side and the versatility with being able to play Cornerback and Safety. Off the field, strengths will conduct myself in a professional manner and represent the team well and how it’s supposed to be represented.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m ready. If you’re looking for someone who’s great under major pressure, a well raised guy, and a football player who’s ready to work in any condition who will put the extra hours in of learning and getting better day by day, then I am him.
