Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Before the season I set a few goals and they were to break the school yards per punt record, get all-conference recognition again, and become the best player I can be in my last season. I was able to break the school record for punt average in a season. I was also awarded 1st team all-conference and 2nd team all region.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would say that I’m competitive, hardworking, and passionate about what I do. I think they notice the time and effort I put in and that I strive to be the best and do whatever it takes to help the team.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I look at my drop and if the ball moves or not after I drop it. I look at how I catch the ball, how I hit the ball on my foot, and how my leg swing is. I will analyze what went right and why or what went wrong and why. I also like to look at other punters film to see why they’re successful and take away things from them that I might be able to use. When looking at opponents I like to look at how they line up to rush and what their tendencies are. I also like to look at where a returner typically lines up so I can adjust and make it more difficult on them to return the ball based on where they are on the field. As a punt unit we gave up very few return yards.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think my athletic ability is one thing that sets me apart. I’m willing and able to punt the ball many different ways depending on the opponent and situation. Another thing that sets me apart is that playing in Wisconsin you get accustomed to playing in bad weather. I’ve played in many very windy, freezing cold, or pouring rain games so having experience in those situations could separate me from other prospects.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Kicking and lifting regularly. Training with a trainer weekly. Working on drops as much as possible.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The ability to kick in bad weather effectively. Being mentally tough. The athletic ability to adjust if something goes wrong. The ability to chase returner’s and make a tackle if needed. I can effectively hold field goals as well as kickoff. The ability to flip the field and pin the opposing team deep.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My last pitch would be that you’re getting an extremely hardworking guy who would do anything to succeed and help a team win. I would be extremely grateful for an opportunity to showcase my skills in-front of any pro team.
