Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This past season I wanted to focus on improvements each and every week beginning in camp. I set goals for myself and different focal points to work on in practice which helped elevate my game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They’d say I’m a guy that leads by example, high energy, competitor and coachable.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I like to start by focusing on each receiver that I’ll be matched up with and look for tendencies in their releases, down and distance and where they are on the field then I start to focus on route concepts and what I’m getting in certain situations. After all of that I’ll watch full games and try to picture myself on the field and let my eyes wonder.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe I’m one of the most resilient prospects in this draft, whether that’s on or off the field. I do well against adversity. Coming out of a junior college I’ve had to overcome obstacles that many have not seen.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

The past couple months I’ve been doing combine training with Shane Sykes at Elite Athlete Development. I’ve been working with him for the past 5 or so years on speed and strength training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A real love for the game that translates into the way I go about preparation. I know I’m one of the most athletic corners in the draft, pound for pound one of the strongest. I can cover outside receivers as well as the slot. I can make an impact on special teams as well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You’re getting a guy that loves the game, and has the athletic ability to run with the receivers in today’s game. Also pound for pound one of the strongest DBs in the draft. My film and my upcoming pro day will show I’m versatile.
