Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal was to be an All American, a leader on and off of the field, one of whom everyone could count on to be there to lead our team and to help our team to win the championship. Unfortunately, NCAA unfairly denied my waiver for me to play my final collegiate season of football. However, I did not allow NCAA’s decision to allow myself to give up on the gift that God has given to me and has blessed me with all of my life but instead, I took NCAA’s decision, on top of every other setback that I have had along my journey and I used that as motivation to strive forward even harder. I held my head up even higher, I stayed focused on my goals more than anything, I stayed encouraged and highly driven and I continued training and working out even harder, eating extra healthy, lifting more weight, speed training and running even faster, doing field work and running routes every day to perfection, offensive as well as defensive, watching and studying film every single day, just applying myself 110 % and doing any and everything that I possibly could to thrive and to prepare myself for the next chapter in my life in order to be in the best of shape and condition that I possibly could for my pro day and so that I could succeed 110% at the next level. Meanwhile, while training, working out, staying focused and staying positive, I was immediately offered a college coaching job right after NCAA had denied my eligibility. I immediately thanked God as well as Coach Furrey for the amazing opportunity of being able to go from being a student athlete on the field one day to being a coach on the field the next day. I am very thankful and extremely blessed for the opportunity and experience of being able to be a college football coach with the ability of learning as much as I possibly could from such an elite and stellar college football coaching staff with over 39 + years of recent (2021) NFL coaching, playing, and super bowl experience. I immediately chose to accept the coaching opportunity to get as much experience, knowledge, and understanding under my belt as I possibly could, making it to the playoffs my very first year of coaching and having a very successful season. It was a true blessing being able to gain so much wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from a college coaching standpoint. I totally believe that everything happens for a reason as God has opened so many different doors for me in all different directions and positions along my journey, on and off of the field, giving me experience at every angle possible from playing offense, defense, special teams, kick and punt returner on the field to being a college football coach and having the opportunity and experience of coaching in the college playoffs, having 2 years of graduate assistant experience, learning not just from the playing and coaching aspect of the game, but also learning and acquiring profound awareness, knowledge, and understanding from the business side of the game as well, all while finishing up on not just one but on two masters degrees. God has taken me a whole different route than most others and I wouldn’t trade this route for anything in the world as I have gained so much experience and erudition from every aspect of the game and business. God works in mysterious ways I can truly say and I am very grateful and thankful for every opportunity and experience that he has blessed me with.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am very versatile and have the ability to play multiple positions 100% on both sides of the ball, they’d say, no matter where you put him, Offense, Defense, or on Special Teams, you’re gonna always get 100% out of him. He’s very quick, fast, and has dangerous speed, he’s extremely deceiving with his quickness, the way that he plays the game, he’s shifty, crafty, very physical, explosive, and he is extremely athletic, his IQ level is through the roof and his strength is like totally crazy, he just knows how to be in the right place and make big plays at the right time, “AKA” Always Known As the “JOAT” the “Jack Of All Trades” with a lot of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the game.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on all aspects of the play from the formation, where the ball is spotted, the matchup that you have, splits, alignment, assignment, specific movements players like to do which tells you if it’s a run or a pass, how to set the front or what type of pass protection it is which allows you to understand the flow of the play and how the pressure will come allowing you to realize if it has to come out quick or if you’ll have time back there, also where people are lined up and reading the fronts, finding out who the Mike is or what the coverage is, if it is closed or open safety/safeties. Another thing I do is use percentages to uncover tendencies in the opponent’s offense or defense. You allow percentages to dictate what situations or plays you focus on to be the most successful, If a team loves play action on 3rd and short, i spend extra time analyzing their fakes and see if they change their blocking scheme when they execute the play, If a team runs the ball 80% of the time on first down, focus on making sure your defense is properly aligned to their most used first down formations. My study goes on forever but just being a student of the game, I’m always interested in learning everything that I possibly can more and more each and every day anytime that I can and just finding little nacs in the game in which you can separate yourself.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from the other pro prospects at my positions is, I have been called a Jack Of All Trades by Coach Luke Fickell and by many other elite coaches and star athletes, my unique versatility on the field, playing all three sides of the ball and my amazing ability to instantly change direction and challenge men stands out and comes second to none amongst all, the experience that I have coaching as well as my experience coaching in the college playoffs, being a graduate assistant for two years, not only knowing how to play and coach the game, but I have also gained a lot of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding about the business part of the game as well, being the only athlete in the 2023 NFL Draft who has played DB/WR/ST Punt and Kick Returner my entire career, and finishing up on not just one but on two masters degrees sets me far apart from other draft prospects, just being able to contribute in all three aspects of the game playing WR/DB/ and Special Teams at a high level allows me to bring extremely great value to all teams, with my ability of being so versatile and very useful on all three fazes of the ball and being of great help where ever I am needed on the field regardless if it is on offense, defense, or on special teams, I bring an exceptional amount of help & value to all teams especially when your team is short on players. My speed is very dangerous being clocked at 4.2 and 4.3 and I am stronger than most people at my positions being able to bench 225 30+ reps. Being a multi sport athlete, as well as a right and a left handed athlete, makes me highly stand out. Being around the game so long and playing it at such a high level, playing and learning under some of the best coaches to ever coach the game such as such as Cincinnati/Wisconsin’s Head Coach Luke Fickell, Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman, Notre Dame’s Mike Mickens, Hampton/XFL Vegas Vipers Duane Taylor, just to name a few, as well as coaching college DB’s myself and making it to the playoffs my very first year of coaching college football, learning to coach from an elite and stellar college football coaching staff with over 39 + years of recent (2021) NFL coaching, playing, and super bowl experience such as (Ex Chicago Bears WR Coach Mike Furrey, Former NFL standout WR/Ex Carolina Panthers WR Coach Jerricho Cotchery, Ex New Orleans Saints & Super Bowl Champion Anthony Hargrove, San Diego Chargers RB Jordan Todman, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins Nate Garner, just to name a few, having this opportunity and experience has allowed me to gain even more football IQ, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, at all angles of the game and business therefore, my on field & off field experience, my versatility, my wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the game and business as well as my college coaching and playoff experience is what widely separates me from all other 2023 nfl draft prospects.

Working in the community helping the youth, helping the elderly, visiting the sick and shut in, in the hospitals and nursing homes, feeding the homeless, helping tornado and hurricane victims as well as people in snow storms and blizzards, helping and giving back any time I can, when I am not on the field, I try to give back to my community as much as possible in every way that I possibly can.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL or to any other professional teams in the league who are looking to draft a “REAL DOG” If you are looking to draft a “REAL DOG” a dog that don’t just bark, but a “DOG” that is “EXPLOSIVE” “AGGRESSIVE” “PHYSICAL” and “ATTACKS” on both sides of the field, a dog that puts that fear into players making players afraid to go up against him at all times on Offense, Defense, or on Special Teams, if you are in need of a true elite DB/WR/ST (Kick & Punt) to help improve your offense/defense or Special Teams, SAVE BIG ON 2023 DRAFT PICKS BY DRAFTING THE “JOAT” (JACK OF ALL TRADES) AULDEN KNIGHT DB/WR/ST, GET 3 for 1.
