Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One goal I set myself this season was to get invited to an all-star bowl game to show my talents. I was blessed enough to be invited to the HBCU PigSkin Bowl and played in at the end of my senior season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches will say I am determined on getting better on my craft and I would constantly ask questions about different aspects of the game not just special teams. If you were to ask my teammates about the type of player I am they will say I am hard-working, supported of others, will definitely advocate for others, and lastly just a great person to be around.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

In film study I would usually focus on if I was consistently snapping the ball to my punters chest area or right hip. Then I focused on my snap speed with a stop watch to see if my speed has been dropping or stated the same along the season.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates myself from other prospects is I can teach and coach anyone how to be a long snapper. I have the patience to spend an hour or two with an individual and teaching them how to properly snap 15 yards. Anyone can play football but it takes a different type of person to coach someone to be better than yourself at the position.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This offseason I plan on training at Miles College on my own time and lose about 20 to 25 lbs and gain more strength and speed along the way. I plan on snapping with my punters from Miles College. In the summer time I plan on coming back home to California and train with 3•2•1 Kicking to improve my skills with other free agents.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One strength I can bring to a team is my knowledge of special teams. I don’t just know who to snap a ball between my legs. I have knowledge that not every punter/kickers are the same so trying new coverages, style, fake etc will help out the teams. I don’t just want to play football, some day I plan on getting in the coaching world and special teams is one of those things I love to do.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I understand several coaches my not even take a chance on an individual of my size and stature but I am those athletes that will never be stop improving my craft no matter how many individuals give me praises on the job I am doing there’s always something to improve. That being the speed of a snap or the way I have to tackle a punt returner I will never stop improving. Making it to a pro team isn’t just for me it’s for the kids who live in my community to give them hope that working hard and having patience in life will be rewarding no matter if you undersized. You will be getting a long snapper who’s eager to get started and ready to put in the work on making a team better.
