Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to win the conference and help my team win a ring. We came up short but it was still an experience that I was able to impact the game as much as I could.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
First they would say I’m passionate. I really love the game. Then they would tell you that I am a hard worker. I set high expectations for my teammates and hold them accountable when they aren’t meeting them but it’s always for the betterment of the group and team.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
First I watch my matchup, then all of the wideouts. I watch things like the way someone comes out of the huddle, is their foot stance any different, and some wideouts give tips on if it’s a run or a pass based off those things.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’ve had to fight scratch and claw to be In this position, so for one I honestly understand having to come earn a spot, also I don’t expect anything to be given to me. So with that in mind I know that every time I step on that field I have to go 150% because that has gotten me this far. I’m coming to work.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am still currently on campus so I am using our facilities to train currently along with taking classes to teach me more things such as a strength and conditioning class. Looking to start training in Lansing, Michigan to better prepare myself as well.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a natural born leader that learns fast. I also am really good with people and can bond with new people quickly and something like that in my eyes help with team chemistry. I understand how to take accountability and also criticism, because in this game nobody is always right so as long as I’m around people who want it just as bad as me we can get better together bouncing ideas off each other.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
As stated before I know what it means to work for everything. I’m coming to work. No matter what the future hold I would like to thank any and every team for even giving me an opportunity. I’m ready to be apart of the next big thing!
