Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to make All-Conference and finish tops in sacks in the conference and I did just that. At one stretch in the season I had recorded a sack in 4 straight games and TFL in 5 straight games to help my win a 3rd consecutive conference title.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Both my coaches and teammates would say that I am a player who let’s his play lead by example my teammates know that I’m ready to lay it all out on the line every time that we step on to the field. My coaches will tell you that I play the game with a passion that’s unmatched and nobody loves the game more than me when I’m out there competing. Any coach or teammates that I’ve played with would tell you that you can plug me in anywhere on the defense and I will instantly be a team player and do everything it takes to win at a high level with a motor that don’t stop.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I tend to focus on early snap count reads and offensive lineman movements and tendencies. My game is based off my get off I feel going all the way back to my high school days I had the fastest get off you had ever seen before my first 2 or 3 steps always take me directly to the quarterback once I get the snap count down pack so I try make emphasis on that when I’m studying film. I love to scout the best offensive lineman for the other team because that’s who I want to go against every play to show him why I’m the best.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is that I played under 4 different defensive schemes under 4 different coaches and I dominated in each scheme whether it was playing Defensive End or Stand Up Pass Rush LB I have experience on all college levels I proved that I can dominate against any level of competition at a high level no other prospect want this more than me I love the game of football so it’s nothing I wouldn’t do to be great at it. No other prospect can out work me because I know for a fact it’s nobody in this upcoming draft with a heart bigger than mines talent is something I just keep in my back pocket my heart and determination is what drive me over the top of others.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason has been training every day with a personal training to gain a extra 15 pounds leading up to m combines that I will be competing in I feel like once I get to 245 I will be unstoppable so I really been focusing on improving my bench press and just all-around nonstop working every part of my body day in and day out I will put up outstanding numbers leading up to the combine.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My passion and love for the game will be a huge motivator for any team who needs somebody to get them going in practice or opening kickoff I’m that player who goes crazy after every play and when I make a play I let everybody on the field know it my hunger to be great and make it from nothing will push everybody on the team to work harder everyday just by carrying a winning attitude at all times.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is if you want a extremely long , and fast pass rusher who is going to give you his all every single play I’m your guy and I just love football and I love that game and I will never take it for granted I want to change my life and my son life and prove I’m the best defensive player in this draft. If you’re looking for somebody who going to give a 110% every play that’s me I don’t give up on plays and I’m willing to do anything to help the team win special teams or alternating positions on defense I’m willing to do anything and be great at it.
