Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My goals leading into my final season was to help the team win games and build memories with them.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Aggressive, Smart, Durable.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Working on being more explosive and building strength to give scouts a reason to take a chance with me.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
First, I look at who is playing across from me. I look at his tendencies and what he likes to do. Second, I look at the whole defense. I look for what they are capable of on certain downs. Then I look at my team’s weaknesses. I try to get a mind view on what strategies they will try to use.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me is my attitude. I have more heart than any player I have played against. I can play from Left Tackle to Right Tackle. I can read coverages and can read blitzes very well.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On and off the field, I handle business before anything. I have great leadership and strategical thinking skills.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Taking a chance with me is going to be one of the best decisions you will make. I promise you it won’t be a let down. My college coach took a chance with me and it was one of the best decisions he ever made.
