What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I was nominated Team Captain and achieved my goal of playing a full season healthy. I also achieved my goal of a multiple turnover year with 3 takeaways. I ultimately proved to myself that I am able to compete at a high level.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I feel that it played in my favor! I ultimately was able to get another year of film to build on a good COVID season campaign in 2020! Which led to me having 52 tackles, 2 INTs, 1 FF, 3 PBUs and also 6 pancakes!

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

That I’m a lover of the game! That I’m one of those players who is a student of the game and loves football!

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I first like to analyze my fundamental skills in the duration of the season and also my opponents! I feel like doing this you can get a gist of what type of players you’ll be competing against . The raw skill is something I also look at! I love trying to find that X factor move that my opponents use. Also technical skills that are taught by coaches in certain organizations!

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My versatility and my game IQ. I believe this can play 4 different positions(CB, S, Nickel, OLB) and thrive with success. I also believe I’m physical enough to rush the edge even B gap against top tier OLs. Then also my knowledge of the game. I have been around football since I was 7, and I also played 7 years of D1 football at 3 different programs and also played for all 3, so I’ve been around a lot of different defenses!

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on going back to Louisiana and training with Alpha Sports Performance for my pro day and also any bowl games that I could possibly be invited to!

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths that I bring off the field would be my people skills. I can keep a conversation with anyone and I have a very unique personality about myself, that people seem to be drawn to in a positive aspect. On the field they are getting a leader and a player very enthusiastic about playing the game. Also a great special team player and versatile DB!

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

That I’m just a guy from Louisiana who loves football!
