Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The main goal that was set in my final season as a Scot was a Conference Championship, it was a goal for our program in the years I was there; individual goals were set in congruence to team goals. Team goals were always the priority and after the team goals were met, individual goals were worked for. To become a recognized athlete within the conference as well as within the country was a goal I envisioned for myself, and it was accomplished.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I was a passionate and hardworking player. I was a player that cared for the success of the team and the program as well as personal success of my teammates. My coaches and teammates would also say I am a player with a relentless effort and drive for success.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
There are always things to improve when viewing my film. One of the things I focus on improving the most is recognition of the opposing defenses and the schemes they are running. As a center it is very important to be able to recognize the schematics of the opposing teams. Hustle is also something that can be constantly improved as well.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from the other pro prospects at my position is my willingness to adapt to different positions on the offensive-line. As I am more physically inclined to play center, I am very willing to play any position on the line if given the opportunity. I am also willing and capable to learn the different positions of the offense. As a center, it is crucial to learn not just the offensive line play, but also the play of the other positions of the offense. I have an unrelenting effort for success and improvement. My heart and hustle is something that I take pride in.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan for training is to become the best version of myself. I plan on training at the College as well at my former high school. I will also train my metal as well as my physical as it is a crucial part of my game. I have the flexibility to train and improve my game anywhere and everywhere, training is not a problem.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My leadership is something that will stand out both on and off the field. I have an uncanny ability to lead from any position. I am always improving my leadership abilities as well, there is a steady improvement when it comes to my leadership.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I will never pass up a chance to continue my football career, I will give complete effort if given a chance to play at the next level. I am willing to play any position on the field, I am more physically inclined to play offensive line, but I will do anything asked of me for any team that gives me a chance to continue to play football.
