Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I had a goal to have better completion percentage and also be able to take the game into my own hands and I feel as if I did both of those.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Easily everybody would say I’m a team first guy that is all about winning and the hardest working guy on the team. Never the type of guy who will be in any kind of jeopardy about me playing.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Okay so I watch for two things specifically. My first few sessions are to see what I did wrong and where I can improve, after that I’m watching tendencies. Which guy is lazy on the defense, what kind of signals do the dbs use to tip coverages, and how do opponents get big plays on the team. I’m also looking to see body language from the defense over the course of the whole game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My mind for the game is second to none. Any teammate or coach that’s ever been around me knows I am a TRUE student of the game. I’ve been understanding coverages since I was about 14 years old so now I kind of just know how to beat any defense.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Thank God for my quarterback trainer Quincy Avery, during all my free time I’m in the lab with him he’s the best at what he does.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Off the field I’m an ambassador for an entire football league not just a ball player. I’m the best natural leader that can get his job done well but also be all about the team so when it’s not my time I’m supporting my teammates like it’s me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
If you want someone else don’t meet me, I guarantee if I get in front of them and get the opportunity to be who I am it will change their life.
