What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal was to be All-American, but grateful to have made All-Conference team.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I definitely took advantage of it, I was able to get more work in and really sit down and understand the game more. I am continuing to work on my footwork, speed, and changing direction. The extra year gave me more time to prepare for my next steps transitioning to professional football.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I’m a hard worker and a team player.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I just look at the little things, like how I’m coming out of my breaks and just the way I’m looking, so every aspect of the game. Always trying to get better! I think what really helped me was looking at tendencies and understanding what’s coming out of each formation.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I feel like I’m specialized to play this position and footwork and speed is something that I’m blessed with.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on working with a few trainers just working on improving every aspect. It’s always good to have a second or third pair of eyes, but my pops is usually good with that.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m someone that going to make plays when my team needs it and I bring the Kobe Bryan mindset and I believe that that’s a mindset that every organization will value.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Willing to do what ever it takes for an opportunity.
