Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Going into my final season of collegiate football a goal that I set for myself and my team was to win a conference championship and make a run in the playoffs. We fell short of that goal this year.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I used this opportunity to learn more about the game. From a tactical standpoint and to learn what I need to work on as a player and student of the game improving where I felt like i was weak and sharpening the skills I already have.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would tell you I am a team player, hard worker, tough and willing to learn from anyone to improve myself. They know me for putting in extra work before practice throughout the day whether that’s film or on field drills. I’m known for being gritty and doing the hard things until they become second nature.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

As far as studying film, what I do to improve my game is learning to identify coverage throughout the play, really within the first 3-5 steps of the ball being snapped to notice disguised coverages and player tendencies. While watching myself on film I focus on how I come out the top of my routes trying to make sure it’s as efficient as possible. When watching special team film, I look at the other team’s effort in this phase of the game and look to find ways to expose any weakness they may have.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Things that separate me from other prospects at my position I value blocking and realize that if i come off the ball the same on a block as I do a route it makes it difficult for defenses to identify what the play is. I realized early on in football the game is not all about the written stats that everyone sees.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

When it comes to training during the offseason I will be attending The Trench Academy in Tampa Florida. I am working with coach Taylor Scott with strength training and coach Lamark Brown with speed and position work. This is the ideal environment for my transition not only for the great coaching staff but also the professionals within the gym showing you what it really takes to get and stay on that level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe the strengths that I bring to a team are reliability, I’m gritty, and I am coachable. I am a wide receiver who takes special teams seriously. I know I have the ability to make an impact on the game in more than one phase of it.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and all pro leagues is when you get me you get a leader through his actions. I am the type of player that helps bring the best out of everyone around me. As far as my playing ability when it comes to my skill set, I am a player that can have a positive impact in more than one phase of the game. I am a larger receiver who is a route runner and creates separation. I value special teams the same as I value playing receiver. I am dedicated to my craft and a positive influence in the community.
