Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Early on in my career, I set goals to be a leader, someone other players looked up to. I accomplished this and earned the respect of my teammates and coaches by being named team captain my junior and senior year. I believe I was a leader in the years before that and would push my teammates to be the best they could be. I held them accountable and I led by example, with my determination and hard work on and off the field. I set many goals each year and the biggest goal I accomplished was being named an All-American on the field as well as in the weight room.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say I’m a determined player that plays with a lot of heart and never gives up. I finish every game strong and play every play like it’s my last. I would also say I’m a player that you can trust both on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching myself and breaking down practice/game film I focus on my eyes and feet. Eyes to see if I’m seeing what I need to see as the play is developing and having good feet will help you in so many ways. Whether that’s beating a reach block, beating a puller, or chasing down a play. Next, I focus on technique every time I come in contact with someone to see if I am trying to make a move and use my hands and see if I could do it differently to be better the next play.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe my ability to read plays and react quickly along with my athleticism separates me from other prospects at my position. My ability to learn from my mistakes also separates me from others because I’m a player that never settles and strives to be the best I can be.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to train every day and push my body to new limits that I never thought I could reach.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m an outgoing person that can get along with everyone. I believe creating chemistry is one of the most important aspects in having a good football team. I know my teammates can always count on me, trust me, and I never miss meetings, practice, lifting, ect. I’m a football player that understands the game and is willing to help others reach their full potential. No matter what role I have, I’m going to make sure I do it to the best of my abilities.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m the player you want on your team because of my athleticism and ability to play multiple positions. I’ll do whatever is asked of me to make the team better, I’m very team oriented, humble, and a selfless player. I’m a play maker that other players thrive on and I will not let anything get in my way to reach my goals.
