Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?

In my final season my goals where to be the best at converting & helping with short distance downs & goal line in the redzone. Also being able to receive 4-5 yards each run I get breaking the first tackle and always falling forward. For the spring my goal is to be bigger, stronger & faster. Working my ass off to be the best of my ability, also networking getting to know where people are getting my name out to be able to get a chance at the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I feel my coaches and teammates would say I’m a very humble person, out spoken, and also hungry with a drive. People would say the most biggest thing for me is being humble, there’s been plenty of times where I could have over did a situation or over reacted out but that’s just not the person I am. Players would say I’m very helpful like to the next person when I push the next man to do better.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

While studying film I’m looking at the linebackers and how physical they are, their speed knowing they’re different with each linebacker I would play against. My film studying would usually be 30 mins to a hour. Learning how the linebackers move, how they come down hill, or how they attack the line of scrimmage when it’s a run compared to the pass. Watching how they use different technique they use in act of play. Also I’m looking at the defense on who is the most dangerous or most dangerous side of the ball. The Defensive Line plays a part to my film studying, watching how the DL gets off the ball.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is I’m always working on my craft night in and night out working on how to learn the game in different ways. With me being a bigger back I know my role and what is expected of me and dominate it the best way I can. I feel with me always falling forward at the ending every run is the big part that separates me and other pros. Also mind set is different, my goal is to get 4 yards each play as I know Eventually I will break.

Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?

I plan to stay in contact with a lot of guys I know to train with. I have guys in back pocket and use them to my advantage, I’m lucky enough to have guys with training facilities that allow me to come in and work out when I want.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Patience is the biggest part because I love the game. Leadership, I stand by good communication skills and always being positive. I feel I have great strengths that I can bring to the team off and on the field is showing I’m trust worthy, making sure I’m doing what I’m brought here to do whether it’s from eating right to working out and watching film etc. Being the person that they can trust me to be. With my abilities I feel I am able to adjust to different people and environment I’m in. I tend to feel I have the ability to rub off others with my drive and my work ethics on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?

I feel that I am the power back the NFL/CFL. A team is not going to want to hit a running back all four quarters. A running back falling forward finishing runs is my strongest part of my game. With my abilities I have on and off the field my work will show it all. I just need that chance to show that power backs are really needed in the run game down and distance are very important in the game today especially in a big time downs or milking the clock ect.
