Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I definitely took advantage of my extra year of eligibility by getting better with the small things on the field, along with especially getting better off the field, such as weight loss and getting stronger in the weight room.

I think my coaches and players would say that I am a dependable teammate, that I am able to go do my job at a very high, consistent level in order to give our team a chance to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I am focusing on the little details such as my drop, my steps, get off time, and my leg swing. All of these things have shown to be the the keys to my success as a collegiate punter.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

There are a lot of very talented punters around college football, while having respect for their game I do think that my ability to hang the ball up in the air for so long consistently gives me a huge advantage over the other athletes in my position group. Along with my hang time I have the ability to flip the field in any position of the field, even from my own end of the field.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to get better with consistency when it comes to my steps, tightening up every little detail of my form. I also plan on getting stronger in the weight room, and getting myself mentally prepared for what’s to come in the future.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I can bring the ability to dominate the field position battle for a team, along with causing a momentum change within the game as well. Off the field, I have the ability to bring positivity to a team as well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Whoever out there is looking for a good all around punter to bring in this upcoming NFL Draft, I can tell you this, I am working harder everyday than any other punter in this draft class. I am more than ready for the next level and will not focus on anything but this. I have come too far to be finished now.
