My goals I set for myself was to lead the team in sacks and be a impact player on the field which helped lead me to becoming 1st team all-Conference and 2nd team all-American.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I believe the extra year helped me improve my skills, awareness, and show off more of what I can do being shorter sized athlete in my position. While also showing that I am versatile enough to play out of position as well.

My coaches and teammates would all agree that I am highly dependable, coachable, and holds myself accountable.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film, I always watch the guy I’m going to battle against majority of the film session. Watching his best match ups to see what his strengths and weaknesses are along with his tendencies.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from others is that I play with a chip on my shoulder knowing I have something to prove because I’m always over looked and seen as the underdog due to my height. I always sharpen my old skills while bringing new skills to the table to help increase my chances of success.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to continue working and perfecting my craft by getting work in with my College DL coach while also increasing my flexibility.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On and off the field I am a natural physical leader, I do all the little things. From running the right call to picking up trash that isn’t mine. People tend to follow leadership that isn’t forced upon them.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am more of a guy that likes to showcase my work rather than speak on it because actions speak louder than words.
