When I study film I first identify what ever defense we’re going to be facing whether it’s 3-4, 4-2-5, etc. Also i study alignment of corners & safety’s cause that’ll tell you everything you need to know about what coverages I’m going against. And tendencies of the guy I’m going against whether he gets out his back pedal fast, does he open up quick, or is he aggressive at the line of scrimmage. I also study myself a lot trying to break bad habits & tendencies, like if I’m walking out the huddle, am i taking too many steps coming out of my breaks, just small things!
