What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for this season were to win a National championship, become a team Captain, and make All-Conference and All-American Honors. We fell short as a team yet I was a Team Captain and earned All CAA Conference honors.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of the extra year of eligibility by giving myself an extra year of development. I never stopped working. It gave me an opportunity to get bigger, faster, stronger, get an upper hand in the film room, and work on how to adapt to changes due to covid.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m a leader, a very hard worker, very smart, very instinctive, and a great communicator.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I look at tendencies within an offense schematically first, then I go back and look at my keys and tendencies by the offensive tackles, receivers, and if the QB gives anything away during film that I can take advantage of. I like to visualize myself making the play so on Game-day it’s second nature.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I play very fast because of the way I can read plays and see things develop quickly and trigger fast reactions. My leadership elevates the level of play of my teammates by being fearless and using the knowledge gained by studying my opponent and combining it with natural instincts to gain advantages on the field. I blend athletic intelligence, leadership, and constant communication with my teammates to separate the way I play from other pro prospects.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ll be training in Columbia, Maryland at 360 FitPerformance to sharpen my skills and testing numbers in preparation for pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I possess great instincts on the field and can see things develop very quickly. I’m a very smart player who understands schemes and am very versatile. I am a leader and a team captain inside and outside of the locker room and I am able to make others around me better.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a very versatile player who can be plugged in anywhere and make an impact. I am an intentional and violent tackler, who can cover and make plays. I am a great communicator pre and post snap who is going to run with an opportunity if given one.
