Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Last year after one of the top seasons at Wide Receiver in our conference I got second team all-conference. It just fueled me and made me want first team even more. So coming into the season first team all-conference was on the forefront of my mind. I wanted to make every coach that we played this year game plan for me and try to take me out of the game. Ultimately, I accomplished it. I saw a lot of double coverage and even some triple. Also, at the end of the season I received first team all-conference honors.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m extremely passionate about the game. I love it with all my heart. I expect greatness every time we step on the field and aim for nothing less. They know that when it’s game day I’m going to give 130% and do everything I can to win every rep and do my 1/11th. My teammates can come to me with issues and I’ll listen and do whatever I can to help them out. It takes on-field and off-field consistency to be a great teammate and player.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on improving route running. Perfecting the craft entails doing all the little things. The sticks steps, the quickness of counter hands, hips and eyes, eating up space and cushion, height in and out of breaks, and releases. I work to refine all the essential tools to route running. I like to watch the greats of today like AJ Green and how he high points the ball and snatches it away, or Stefon Diggs and the way he uses his hands at the top of routes, or Julian Edelman and how he gets open in tight spaces and works quick feet at the LOS.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

God is in my corner. He has carried me this far and has blessed me with the ability to play wide receiver at a high level. I feel like at the wide receiver position I can do it all. I can go outside or inside and win. I can run after the catch. I am able to win 50/50 balls consistently. I am willing to run across the middle. I can also make the reliable possession catches. I thrive under pressure and have made multiple game-winning, third down, and fourth down conversion catches. I am fearless when the ball is in the air.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to cut out fast food and drink a lot more water. I plan on working with a trainer and transforming my body and becoming more conditioned. I also aim to gain at least 10 pounds. I would also like to begin stretching more as well as learning and adopting new treatment and rehabilitation techniques.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths are my speed and relentlessness. No matter what something looks like, I’ve learned through experiences, that I will accomplish it. I will find a way. Off the field, I support my teammates. I follow directions well and I execute coaches’ game plans. I am also a man of God, something I pride myself. He guides me and keeps me on track. Without Him I am nothing.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL is I am chosen. God has gifted me with great talents. I have been through a lot and I am still standing thanks to His grace. I just need one opportunity. I will compete day in and day out. Even if I’m on a practice squad I will make the starters better. I know I can compete at the highest level. With the correct coaching, training, and treatment I will dominate. All I need is ONE chance.
