Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goals for the 2019 season were to reach the final 4 for division 3 which myself and my team were able to accomplish. Personally, my goals for this year were to improve my route running and blocking. I was able to work hard throughout the year to improve both of these and become a more dynamic Tight End.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a hard worker and that I am good teammate. I make sure to connect with each and every coach and player on my team in a specific way and make sure to be the best teammate in all ways for my team. I came to practice and work outs ready to get better each and everyday. I look to be the best version of myself everyday and my coaches and teammates would say I am a hard working, determined player.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I look for the little details that I can improve in my game. I watch the same play over and over again looking for small fixes that can turn into big things for my game. Film is very important to me and taking time to watch myself and also what my opponents tendencies are help me improve as a player.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Versatility, I see myself as a hybrid tight end. I am capable of being attached to the line to help with run fits and pro style formations. I can be put as a H back and be motioned around to create a disruption in the defense. With that I also can be put in the slot to run routes and block as well. I see myself as a very dynamic and versatile TE who plays very physical and has a lot of knowledge about the game. I spent my time in different meetings and film sessions with the WR’s. TE’s, O line and Running backs and was able to gain experience and knowledge from many different position groups.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to have a trainer help me improve my strength and conditioning. I will be working in the weight room and on the field everyday in order to be at my best potential. I am going to be spending a lot of time on the field improving my skills and becoming an overall better football player.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths and abilities on and off the field make me the person I am. I am a hard worker on the field and I enjoy playing the game of football. I see myself as a great teammate who will be there for everybody on and off the field.I will bring energy and positivity every day to practice and workouts and will make sure everyone is giving it their all at all times. Off the field, I see myself as a leader and have a great passion for the people around me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I see myself as a very versatile player. I can run down the field and make tackles on kickoff, be put in the slot, and even attached to a tackle and help with run schemes. I consider myself a very intelligent football player and am confident in my ability to help teams be better. I am very liked by my teammates and see myself as a great teammate. My ability to be put in many different positions and schemes makes my game unique. Overall I am a very hard worker and have a lot of experience with different positions over my 4 years of college.
