What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Improving my pad level. Also mastered the ability to play both 0 nose and 3 technique defensive tackle.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Performed well against 5 FBS opponents. 2 of the 5 ranked in the top 15 in the nation over the last year. The other 3 in the top 25 at one point over the past couple of years. Appalachian state, Liberty, Wake Forest, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Mentally tough. Tenacious. No quit. Committed teammate.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I apply the business concept of S.W.O.T.
S. I look for my opponents STRENGTH. Ultimately how I can use there strength against them.
W. Look for my opponents WEAKNESS.
O. I identify OPPORTUNITIES that exploit my opponent.
T. Look for any ways my opponent may THREATEN my performance.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My get off. Very explosive off the line. Athleticism. The ability to forget self in the moment of adversity.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have designated trainers with specific programs that are intentional. Will Bradley for speed performance and Kieon Dorsey for Strength and Conditioning.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Positive attitude. Good teammate. Coachable.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

There is nobody that will out “will” me. They may come from a bigger school – They may have born into privilege, may have bells and whistles – but they will not out “will” me I am raw talent, good get off with athleticism and tremendous upside. A great investment for an NFL team.
