Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set a few goals this season my first was to not miss a single game. Due to injury or any other reason. Next was for get back on the first team all conference list. I was able to accomplish that as well which was great because it was my second year in this offense. And just to improve overall as a player which I feel I did on and off the field to prepare me for the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

If you were to ask my coaches and teammates what kind of player I am, they will tell you that I am a leader, I am hardworking, I am coachable, unselfish. They would probably stress on how passionate I am about the game as well. I play football with a lot of emotions.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am watching film on the opponent I am usually looking for their tendencies not only schematically but, tendencies as a human. For example how they turn their body when they’re about to make contact, do they go high, do they go low, are they looking for big hits, are they loafers, flashy, aggressive, passive etc. I like to know what kind of man I am going against not just what they do schematically. If that makes sense.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro prospects I feel like is my age, I am not your average 22 year old who just left college that needs to be groomed. I am 26 and wont really need to be groomed in that aspect. When it comes to listening, knowing when to be coachable, leadership abilities. I can move just as well as the younger prospects, but am already mature.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan this off-season is to stay in the city of Atchison Kansas where Benedictine College is located and continue to workout with my trainer who got me from full back in 2019 to first team all-conference in 2020. I am a firm believer of “if it aint broke don’t fix it” Him and I have been on a roll for the past three years. I am big on loyalty; I wouldn’t feel right if I was to leave and go train somewhere else or with someone else simply because I could. My ability to stay focused and locked in is way higher in Atchison.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths I bring on the field are my attitude, work ethic, and leadership. I have never been one to complain, I have been through enough o know that does nothing for the solution. I have never shied away from hard work, I am not the type that always needs to go first, but I am the teammate that gives 110% every rep he’s in. I willingly take the responsibility of being a leader as well simply because of my age on this past team and that’s kind of stuck with me. I don’t, mind being the guy everyone looks too. Not because I say so either, I will act in this manner, I don’t need to be named a captain or anything like that either. I will demonstrate it with action across the board. Off the field I would again, say my age would be a strength I have been through a lot. I understand why It’s important to be empathetic to our neighbors and more importantly our brothers so off the field the strength I would bring that’s most important would simply just be being there for my brothers.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch would be to take a chance on me and you wont regret. You will be getting a Man who understands with great power comes great responsibility. You’re getting a player who knows the importance of this gift to play football, who knows the consequences when taken for granted. You will be getting a player who’s ready to work not only for you but, continue to work on himself to become a better man for the team and everyone around because that’s what I owe my people.
