Raidarious Anderson: 2020 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Raidarious Anderson
School: Alcorn State
Position: WR
Height: 6’2″
Weight: 198

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

When I play the game, I play soulfully to win and compete at a high level. The main goal for me personally was not 1000 yards this, 100 catches that. My goal was to do whatever it took to win our conference (and gain my 3rd ring in 5 years) and be in the position to play in the national championship.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A player who is going to compete and never back down from any challenge on the field. Win, lose, or draw I always come back for more.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I like to not only watch my opponent that will line up against me, but I like to study the film to know what coverages they are going run in every situation for example: 1st and 10 after an explosive run/pass, 2 and 10 after an incomplete pass or short run. Little things like that to get whatever edge I can on my opponent.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me is the fact that I will do whatever it takes to make the team better for us to win. We play this game to win. I always put work in keeping my game sharp both physically and mentally and I think that gives me a good advantage.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

There’s nothing else to do but to work everyday on my flaws as well as my strengths and stay in the best shape, then what happens after that will play out for the best.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The ability to make plays down field as well as physical contested catches when it matters the most, also I make key blocks in the run game to help give our back the space he needs to be successful.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If you get me you get a player who’s gonna be on time to everything, and be respectful to everyone in the building, bring good vibes, and nothing negative. I’m gonna work my butt off everyday and earn everyone’s respect.
