Q&A With Daron Clark Jr. – Bloomington Edge

Daron Clark Jr. is a professional arena and indoor veteran of five years. He will be participating in his sixth season, this one with the Bloomington Edge, who he played for during the 2012 and 2103 seasons. The 5’8″ 175 pound, Wide Receiver, played his college ball at Stillman College where he was a 4 year All-Conference Wide Receiver and return man. He racked up 108 receptions and 29 TD€™s and was invited to the University of Alabama Pro Day prior to the NFL Draft. He ended up getting a shot at the Cleveland Browns Rookie camp and ultimately signed with the New York Sentinels in the United Football League. He most recently played his last two seasons with the Richmond Raiders of the defunct PIFL, where he helped lead his team to the 2015 Championship game.

Q: You have played with the Edge before, how does it feel to be back?

A: It feels good to go back to the Edge. Bloomington is a great city and has amazing fans.

Q: Indoor Football is not a full time job, how have you balanced your personal life with indoor football over the last five years?

A: During the off-season, I work on music. I have a recording label YBCMG (Listen to Daron’s mixtape here).
